That's where Body Glide comes in handy

It comes in a "stick" container, like deodorant (it doesn't quite work for that, I can attest!). There are different sizes, but forget the smallest; they contain only enough for a couple of nipples.

This product isn't as gooey as, say, bag balm, but is the lube of choice for many long-distance riders.

Another way to carry small amounts of creams (as well as many other small accessories, meds etc. is in film canisters (remember them?)

As for powdered drinks, I just measure individual servings in ziplocks. Sustained Energy, etc. also comes in single-serving pouches.
