I'm in Southern Calif. and a big Sox fan watch all the games on TV. Is there any place to get a Sox cycling jersey? I tried the Yawkey Way store, since they seem to have a lot, but no luck.
Thanks, Chris

Good question!!! Try a google search...

Last year, I rode for a few miles with a lady wearing one. I think they are available through the Pan Mass Challenge, a premier cycling fund-raiser here in Mass of the Jimmy Fund for the Dana Farber Cancer Center, which is a favored charity, if not sponsored by the Sox. I did a Google search and came up with this comment:

"Yes I have seen one. The truly authentic ones fall apart in August. :D"

BTW, army14, I live about two blocks from Fenway Park and in view of the Citgo Sign you see over the wall. :thumb:

I know I tried a google search first. The jersey you speak of looks like it was available in 2005, nothing since. I'm guessing the old jerseys fell apart in August before they won 2 World Series and now they fall apart in October.

I may have to just wear a bloody sock ala Schilling.

Jim, I've been to Fenway twice, first game was Yankees-Red Sox, front row, Red Sox batting circle. A lot of 1918 chants, no more.

Condorita, I was born and raised in So Cal. you can't help what teams you love. Don't hate me because it was 70 today and the Angels-Red Sox showed everyone in short sleeves. Red Sox Nation is everywhere, I would have quessed by now we would have cycling jerseys.

I'll sell mine for a $2000 donation to my PMC ride. XL, worn on a Sunday PMC ride and once to Fenway Park on PMC night. 100% of your purchase price goes to cancer research and treatment. You will have the highest price-best value Red Sox cycling jersey ever.

I'll sell you mine for a $1500 donation;) Try contacting Team 9, a group of Sox folks; wives, etc. that ride each year. I'm guessing you'll get the same type of donation response but it couldn't go to a better cause. http://www.pmc.org/

This zombie thread from 2005 was recently re-awakened on the Road Cycling Forum:"NFL or MLB Cycling Jerseys"

The only one I've seen is the Red Sox jersey that you can get via the Pan Mass Challenge site

https://www.pmc.org/store/store.asp?Cat=Rider%20Jersey

They claim that this is the only "professional cycling jersey sanctioned by Major League Baseball to be adorned with the new 2004 World Championship logo."

Love the front of the jersey but the back's not that cool. :(

When you get yours, let us know how breathable it is.

Riding in the city last night. Hot...Really Hot. 90deg +. Lot's of horns and GO SOX! cheers.
I think the back looks great. What don't you like? I wish I was a Colo. Rockies fan. The pinstripes on that jersey look awesome but if I put that on I may get mistaken for a Yankees fan...Bad. Very Bad.

Fabric is very soft. Softer than my LG and Voler stuff. Breathability seemed good. Great wicking ability and boy did I need it! At these temps I run wet. We have a couple of more days of brutal heat ahead. Rough.

I think the circular logo clashes with the square pockets on the back and looks like it's just floating in the wrong space. I would've preferred they'd instead put a number on the back like the home jerseys.

Doesn't this look much better/cleaner? More professional and like a real Red Sox jersey?

(The one on the left. The one on the right is the one vomax makes)
