Foo - Itunes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Do you save you credit card info in Itunes for quick one click payment? I wouldn't recommend it, you could be hacked. I have now got 2 $50 gift card charges I did not make. And apples customer service is like waiting for the cows to come home.
Precisely why I don't use itunes..

Is this related to the charges on your credit card, or just a general comment? Are you going through Apple to get your charges reversed? If so, i would suggest going straight to your CC company, probably a much quicker process getting the charges wiped.

For sure, call your credit card company........forget Apple.
I went to Suntrust first and they told me to contact apple since the charges are still pending. Suntrust told me they couldn't do anything until tomorrow.

I don't pay for music but use Itunes to buy Iphone applications..........generally speaking, most of those are free, but I pay for one occasionally if it's worth it.

I have had charges on a couple of different credit cards for iTunes downloads, and I have never stored a credit card number on iTunes, nor used iTunes for any downloads...
So, the source of your hack could well be elsewhere.
You should cancel your card and get a new one issued, regardless of the source of the hack.
When I go into Itunes and look at my purchase history the two gift cards are there, as if I bought them. They didn't come from anyone else using my card number, they used my Itunes identity.
I don't have credit card info stored in iTunes for exactly this reason. Instead, I hit a drug store and buy gift cards for my account.
