looking at options to sidis, i tried on some nike poggios and was leaning towards buying those when i tried on some specialized pro carbon shoes today. slightly cheaper than the nikes, just as stiff and light, and they have the ratchet buckle, which i consider to be a valuable addition. the shop didn't have my size (i tried on one size too small, just for kicks. they still felt good), so before i have them order, does anyone have feedback on these, or how they might compare with the nike?

thanks!

Thought about it...then decided not to go that route.

ST - why did you decide against them?

CRSO, trying them on at the shop, the nikes feel nice. i haven't ridden in them, though. very comfy. they're a bit wider than the genius (though i haven't tried the genius "mega" or whatever they are). they feel very stiff and light and all that, but there's nothing like cranking down the ratcheted strap to make you feel like you're really connected to the bike. sure you can tighten the velcro, but it's not the same, and much harder to do while riding.
