Classic & Vintage - Looking for ballpark fair-value for three-wheel three speed ted williams bicycle

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My grandfather purchase this "1982 3-speed, 3-wheel, ted williams (free spirit) bicycle" back in the summer of '82 from sears roebuck & company. The time has come that he would like to put it up for sale. The bike has no rust on the frame and still has the original paint job in mint condition. The tires are in excellent condition. It rides smooth with no problems. I need help on finding a fair price to sell this bike.

From what I've seen Sears bikes generate little collector interest.
Find out what a new consumer model (not Worksman) adult tricycle sells for and subtract 50% and that should be about right.
Do you know that if a pedal machine has one wheel it should be called a UNIcycle, with 2 wheels it is a BIcycle and 3 wheels a Tricycle. Can we get our terminoligy correct Thanks David le Breton
