Southeast - rockdale river trail

Does anyone ride the Rockdale River Trail in DeKalb County, GA from the north end? Where do you park? I stopped by there on my way home from working in the Metro area. Hoped to park at Stonecrest Mall, but they had all these threatening signs about bicycles and towing. There was also a security vehicle patrolling the lots. The parking lot at the Kohls was 95% empty, but they wouldn't want to provide a community service by allowing people using the trail to park there. It would be OK to limit trail parking. Maybe designate 20 spaces as OK for trail users. There was one car with a bike rack parked way out at the edge of the lot, but the no bicycle signs scared me off.

That is the map I was using. The Path Foundation website is how I found out about this trail. It shows parking at Stonecrest mall, but the whole mall parking lot is posted with these mean signs saying no bicycles, parking for mall visitors only, cars will be towed and all that crap. The parking lot is near empty most of the time.

Do you ever ride from there? Do you know if folks have been harassed for parking there to use the trail?

The parking I was thinking of is shown on the map with an arrow or at Murphy Candler School.
