Last two days I've logged a combined 214km riding with an LBS club. I've rode in groups for the last two summers but the group I normally ride with is pretty laid back making a few stops along the way and generally pretty easy. Well these shop riders are another breed. I've learned a few things and some I need to learn. I've learned it's not always better to spin an easy gear up a hill you'll wear yourself out trying to keep up and the one thing I need to learn is hoe to consume more calories while riding at a faster pace. Has been a fun two rides thou, extrememly hard at times but just as fun when the going is good, smooth roads, downhill, wind at your back 70km/h can be a lot of fun, just make sure you get hooked onto that train.
