hi all,

finally i was able to get ahold of a dahon boardwalk 6 Speed in british green. i test drove it and wow it's really fast compare to my tokyo. was it because of the 20 inch wheel compare to my 16 inch wheel tokyo or because of it's gear mechanics. my citizen tokyo might be heading to CL. i attached pics of it in my car trunk (right after i bought it) and out of the car trunk. sorry no picture yet of it unfolded. i still need to make some minor adjustments (brake pads, gear cables, change the seat). hopefully i will be able to upgrade this folder into something of a road/tour folder.

come NorCal Folder Fest - i may be able to show this with some minor upgrades.....

PS - i was second in line of people who called and are interested on the bike. just got lucked out that the first person backed out and the seller was kind enough to accommodate me and kind enough to give me a good price.

to be honest with you. i am a newbie but already had a citizen tokyo, an A-Bike wannabe and a Dahon Boardwalk in my arsenal. i am still looking at Downtube Mini with Capreo or IGH. I think i got the bug now the 'not enough folder bug'. Please someone help me get rid of this bug....jur, thor, sesamecrunch....is there a cure ??????

Congrats on the Dahon purchase! I'm still regretting not buying the one I saw for $120 some months back.
I'm on my 4th foldy now. No, there's no immediate cure, I'm afraid.

thanks a lot. i got it at an almost the price of my used tokyo. wow for that price you should have grabbed it right away. just keep on looking at CL. that's where i got mine. darn.. that's what i am afraid of. hopefully in time jur and company will be able to find cure.
