Is it OK to park at the Athenian School around 6:30 PM on a week night for a climb up Southgate Road?
If not, are there any good spots near Southgate Road for parking?

Should be OK. If not (gate closed), park on Creekledge Ct. across Blackhawk Rd. from Mt. Diablo Scenic Rd. Il will only ad 200 yards each way to your ride.

Best parking w/out any hassle would be at St. Timothy's on Diablo Rd.

I have never had a problem finding a parking spot on Diablo Rd. within 100yds of Mt. Diablo Scenic Rd., which is the road that goes past Athenian and on up Diablo. I wouldn't even try to park at Athenian - no reason to.
