I'm sorry maybe I am hanging out on the political forums too much :D

Sounds good. The political forums are the place to argue about meaningless stuff, like who would keep the US safer from terrorism. The bike forums are the place to argue about the important stuff, like who could do a faster century.

On that note, what would be the fairest race between a road-cyclist Kerry and a MTB'er Bush? As a guy who rides a Surly, I say cyclocross.

Let's see. Kerry falls of his bike and blames the Secret Service and nothing is said. Not a peep. Bush falls of his mountain bike and blames no one other than himself.

And liberals everywhere are making, snide, mean-spirited, hypocritical remarks.

Makes you wonder how anyone with any self-respect can continue to be a liberal.

TekRider,
wake up and smell the coffee. I saw Kerry bashing posts (not here) the day he fell. I've seen a number of photoshopped pictures
that try to lampooon the event. It's called politics. It's been like this since George Washington was president. My all time favorite- "If Jefferson is elected our women will be raped in the streets" That guy was president of Yale at the time. My experience is that you can lead a NeoCon to knowledge but you can't make him think. Prove me wrong...

Daily Commute...We do have a political forum here at BF, right?Have not contributed in awhile...One time did...Thought honesty is best..Subjects will come up anyway should any of us over meet on the road somewhere...So let all the linen hang out to wash..Adults should have maturity to be honest too.? Hate to have someone bash someones tire at a century over a sujbect, like are we being screwed over the price of tubes/gas-whatever.
Since changed..I bike to lower my blood pressure.
Maybe contribute here at Kerry/Bush bike thread..Might be relevant to us whether or not the president bikes? Depends on whether she/he supports alternative transportation in "ISTEA."

I find it very amusing how much people get worked up over insults against their candidate. I guess after you get out of high school, the joke stops being "your mama" and starts being "your presidential candidate."

"Your presidential candidate is so fat, when he backs up, there's a beeping sound to warn people behind him." :roflmao:
