I just bought this dura-ace crankset off of ebay for use on a frame Im building up. For the bottom bracket, I am unsure of the correct spindle length. There is a shop online that has a ritchey bottom bracket I want to buy, one of the sizes is 68x103. I THINK this is the right size, but I know very little about bottom brackets. I went online and looked up dura-ace cranksets w/ bottom bracket of the same vintage and they said that they were 68x103. Is there a correct spindle length for an application, or are there options? Any insight would be appreciated.
Are the Dura Ace cranks you bought Octalink? If so you must first start with making certain your new bb is Octalink. Match the bb size by reading the size off your old bb when you remove the old cranks.

I have a Dura-ace 7410 crankset and it takes a 68x103 square tapered BB. I also have Dura-ace 7400 and I think it takes 68x110. I think the 7401, 7402, and 7403 take the same BB as the 7400.
