It's spring and time for my SwissBike LX to morph from gutterbunny to mountain bike for the summer.

Away fenders and Topeak rack and bag. Put on the hydration pack.

As it's a hard tail, I want to try the Thudbuster for bouncing over things.

(I'd get a full suspension bike, but hard to find one that folds in my price/weight range. Still looking. It has to fold to fit on my boat and in my van during the annual migration north.)

Might as well look for a seat suitable for a Thudbuster and keep this stem and seat set up for fall/winter urban riding. That will give me a quick swap capability.

Any suggestions? I am a 6'0" geezer mesomorph, size 39 waist, appx 220# mixture of muscle and avoirdupois (stored food reserves).

Any normal two-rail saddle works with the Thudbuster, so try the one you have now. You can increase cushioning with a spring saddle. :thumb:

The issue seat on the SwissBike is not too bad, but I am always looking for an improvement.
