I recently bought a Green 3speed John Deere bicycle and was wondering how many years John Deere made bicycles as they are known for farm equipment and not bicycles.
I doubt they ever made bikes. Very likely a relabel of some other low end brand: Huffy, Roadmaster, etc.
Does it have a kickstand? Does it have chrome (steel wheels)? Does it have turkey levers? Stem shifters? Steel crankset? How many speeds?
Pics?
Without pics, I would guess it is not vintage nor classic. A basic department store level bike. Clean it up, ride it, enjoy it!

I think they sold them at the Deere dealers, though... A farmer I knew gave me one. All his tractors were Deere.

Well the bike was made in Taiwan, but has Medal face plate with official John Deere insigna on it as well as John Deer Yellow decals on the crossbar. My friends mom worked for John Deere In Welland Ontario Canada and she either purchased it or was given it as a gift from the company. '3speeds - Green, 5speed- White and 10speed- Black
Even if they were made in Taiwan, this bike is fast, and durable and certainly rare. It would be nice to find out how many years John Deers sold bicycles. Hmmm, buy a tractor, and get a bicycle

Did you know Deere & Company ever sold bicycles? For two periods; first in the late 1800s and then from 1973 to 1975.
