Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I have just been offered a 'Clements' branded racing bicycle believed to be from the late 70's early 80's. The bike feels like a V. good quality machine is very, very light with Reynolds tube frame, 10 speed Shimano gears, Wienmann side pull brakes and Shimano rims.

Does anyone have any info. on this manafacturer as I can find nothing on the net.

Any help would be appreciated.

Specification Update -

I understand that it is hard to comment on a bike without all the details. I have now had a chance to look at the bike more carefully and take some pictures. I would dearly like some info on the spec and history of it - anything would be appreciated.

spec and photographs as follows:

Frame: Reynolds SMS Tubing

Gears: Shimano ALTUS LT 12 speed

Rims: RIGIDA (made in France) Not Shimano as originally stated.

Bars: SAKAE Road champion CUSTOM

Brakes: Weinmann Type 730

Chainset/sprocket: SAKAE CUSTOM

Pedals: KKT PRO VIC Japan

Frame no: 15564

Thanks for your help.

Search the web for Falcon and Ernie Clements.

The parts on that one are nothing, but the frame looks decent. It's not a high-end model though.

It looks like a decent quality bike but its not what I'd call collectible. The overall condition is good so I'd say $125-150 if your the end user.

Hi.

Thanks for your input fellas.

I'm not after a gem, just something that I can ride and this seems pretty decent.

Worth a punt at 50 quid then?
