...or surrounding area. I am going to be there this week end and I am hoping that I can get some riding in.

Any idea which of these is better or if there are other local routes?

I don't have any specific routes to offer, but I'd head across the river. You can ride over the Beacon bridge and just head in to the country - lots of empty roads, rolling hills. Depending on what distances you're comfortable with, head towards Minnewaska.

Thanks for this... it looks like I will head south on 9D to bear mountain bridge and back. Will report on the ride when I get back. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
