One more thing. 7th pic down. Is there soemthing wrong with that tire? Maybe I am seeing things.

What do you think's wrong? I can't see anything.
But then when I looked, in the 2nd pic, with the BB7, it looks like he has a flat in the rear.

Was he actually riding on his rim or did it happen just before the shot was taken??

He was riding down the trail like that! I could hear people cheering around the corner, so I made sure the camera was ready... then he came flying down (FULL SPEED) on the rim!!!

This reminds me of something else...

At a local DH race someone on a bighit came thundering down the track. Before he came you could just hear these big crack noises and loud cheers. Turns out he got a rear flat and somehow tore up his tire and was riding on the rim.

The good thing about this guy was he was going just as fast as everyone else and still hitting the big gaps, 4-5ft and 5-6ft drop roadgaps. :D

There are a lot of folks that come down on flats.. when points are on the line, it's sometimes worth it. Many riders go through rims during the season anyway... it's all part of racing!

I must agree with the first poster, that the seventh picture from the top, or the second from the bottom has a weird front tire. It just kind of looks off a few degrees.
