General Cycling Discussion - What tube to buy? (Also mudguards)

According to the writing on the side of my tire, the size of the tire is
(52-559) 26x1.95

What size tube should I buy?
What size mudguards should I buy?

Thanks - sorry if the question seems painfully obvious, it's just that the way tires are sized seems confusing :o

Tube: 26x1.95-2.125 - I'm guessing schrader valve.

Fenders: Anything that will fit your bike and allow ample clearance for a 26x1.95 tire.

However, some mudguards that I am looking at online (SKS Race Blades) have this description

The 23-32 is the tire size in millimeters and refers to 700c tires found on road bikes (drop bar and flat bar types), cyclocross, touring bikes, and some mtn bikes. With a 26x1.95 tire I'm guessing your bike is a hybrid or mtn bike.

Read the SKS description again - specially made for on road fitness and touring bikes.

I don't think any of the SKS mudguards, which are listed as "performance", meaning racing or made for speed, will fit a 1.95 tire. The tire is too fat and will probably rub the fender.

Look at the Planet Bike fenders I listed.

Sorry for the idiotic questions - it's not always clear what way tires are sized. The mudguards you linked me to look very good - I will visit my local bike shop tomorrow and see what they have
