I'm new too long distance biking, but im looking to start. I just want to know what sort of things i should pack for multiple day trips (if im playing on camping out as opposed to hotels). and the most efficient way to pack them. I appreciate anyones input thanks in advance and happy trails.

Water purifier, primus stove, dehydrated food, mess kit, self inflating mat, sleeping bag, BUG REPELLANT!, SUN SCREEN!
Just for starters.
I havn't done any self supported road touring for several years now, but when I did I used a BOB trailer to haul everything. Works terrific.
I still have one that I rent out.
