Ive been waiting to see a post on this.
Awesome, more pics pls!
One thing I heard is that the Fox DH forks will basically Boxxer externals, with Fox decals and internals. However I think that's probably wrong , looking at the size of the stanctions and lowers in the pics.
Anyway, does anyone know when they are coming out for the public.

I think it is wrong as well. Fox does not need to borrow or take anything form anybody. No idea on the public release.

And to be honest. doesn't fox do the 'upgrade' kit for the boxxer fork. I can't see fox downgrading to the boxxer internals.
My only concern for me would be support (I have tried communication with fox in the past and found their CS to be subpar) and will I be able to service my own fork. If not...then it is still not an option for me.

Fox makes good stuff, but you do pay extra $ for the name.
Sanctions appear to be about what? 38mm :D

Looks like fox is going to be really pushing that fork this year... Looks as though there were alot of pros on that fork.. I mean hell in one of the 4man shots you saw two females (marla and can't remember the other one from KHS) on it.... cArazy I tell yah!
I do really want to see how it feels, I mean we have all seen huge lite forks before... coughcough zzyx.... coughcough Mr. Dirt.... and look how those were..
It's supposed to be damb lite too... the question the comes to mind is with all the material how do they loose the weight? I'd say by doing something with the internals... and something like that would mean they'd "probably" wear much faster...
Only time will tell, hope fox makes a winner outa it, cause so many people have been waiting for it! And we need another company to raise the anti!
At this point it's only speculation unless any of you happen to work for Fox ;)
I doubt they'll make anything crappy considering this is their debut into the downhill world.

and that too my friend is only speculation ;) (sorry couldn't resist)
I think they'll do fine with this fork.. just really curious to see the time test and how it truely feels wish they'd get it out already to us mere mortals.... HAHA
Check this page out, it has some info about the fork.

It weighs less than 7 lbs. It has up to 8" of travel. It has a 20mm thru-axle. It has 40mm upper tubes. It "probably" cost $1500. :D I think I'll get one for each of my 5 bikes! Yeah, right... Amazing what those little stickers cost, huh? :p

I'll stick with Zochi.
