20 x 2.00 big apples will fit on the rim, but are real big for the fenders..... ..
The big Apples have a low rolling resistance and are almost like adding suspension to the bike.....
thor ( who sells those things...ie ... i really like them )

I have 1.75" Tioga Comp Pool tires on my Boardwalk S1 - also had them on one of our Boardwalk D7s before we sold those bikes.
Other than the piece of wire that flatted the rear tire on my S1 on the National Mall last summer, I have had no problems. They are apparently used a lot on recumbents.
Only caveat: When the air pressure gets low (30-40 lbs or less) they get SLOW.
Just do a search on Google for dealers. (Not sure if Thor handles them.)

great. thanks guys. i see that the apple might rub the fenders a bit. would be nice if i can fit it in as i heard a lot of good words about the big apple. so i think my best bet would be to use the 20x1.75
thor,
on another question - i see on your website that you are selling a Joule Generator front wheel. what size is this and will this fit my dahon boardwalk 6 speed???
thanks again,
