I'm looking for a new frame and have decided to go with aluminum w/ carbon rear triangle. Is anyone in the U.S. building such frames?

Ves Mandaric is. E3 Designs in Colorado might be too. I'm sure a bunch of people could do it. Co-Motion are known for their aluminium frames. Otherwise, you could ask Marinoni for a Delta Extra.

Thanks for those suggestions. I wasn't able to locate ES Designs' website, but the bikes from the other companies look really nice.

Another vote here for Marinoni. They're Canadian, not US, but are a good value, company has a wide range of options including reasonably priced custom geometry, and almost 40 years of history and experience. I used to work at a dealer for them and will vouch for the product.

Russ Denny as well.

I'd suggest Chris Herting of 3D Racing, or Carl Strong maybe if he's still doing Al.
