You are late for work...Can't freak out your co-workers by smelling like a fish. What is the fastest you can clean up and what methods do you use to clean up speedly.? I have to rinse out my bike clothes for the ride home..Guess that can be done later...
Seems it usually takes me 20 minutes to clean up in the manner I would like to. A shower is normally a great way to feel refreshed...

Takes me about 3 minutes. I shower before I leave, don't push hard enough to become a sweathog, and I hang my cycling clothes on the garbage can under my desk to dry during the day. I figure If I allow them to dry before wearing them again it is basically the same thing as 1, 40 mile ride done in two 20 mile rides, I do wash them before I use them on another day though. So far no one has complained and I have not noticed any strange odors or looks.

26 miles is my commute..I will smell like a sweathog, even if I don't push it... What is the fastest method to get clean, if one has not the time to shower.. 3 minutes..That might win the clean up olympics.
I would be happy with a 5 minute shower! I rinse my clothes out while showering with soap...Let hang outside..Just to towel dry probably takes 5 minutes. Like to speed it up, if I could.

Ease up for the last few miles if you can, so that you're slightly cooled down at the end. Use unscented baby wipes to clean off your body, then throw on deodorant and fresh clothes. I can do it in about 5 minutes if I have to... but usually take more like 10.
If you have a shower before you leave home and don't put on deodorant, the clothes should be ok for the ride home just by hanging them up to dry and air out. Sure, they may have a slight 'scent', but it's only you who'll have to smell it...

I'm a funky dog after my 9.5 mile ride in. I have no shower option right now. I may join the company health club so I can take a shower but I don’t like the extra cost and added time it would take. I cool off the last half mile or so of the ride if I can remember to chill. At work I use a handicapped stall in the bathroom to change. I use 6-10 of the hand drying towels in the bathroom to dry off. All the funky bike clothes go in my bag as is. They are pre hydrated for the ride home. HA! I liberally re apply deodorant and put on my work clothes. I wash my face and hands in the sink and head for my cube. It usually takes about 10 min. I’m going to add wet wipes to my clean up routine when I can remember to buy them. I haven’t had a coworker complain yet.

Less than 5 minutes if necessary. I keep clothes and supplies here in the office for almost any situation that may present itself.

I have a 10 mile commute in, I try to slow down the last mile for the cooling effect, I now walk around the block slowly to help cool down more once my bike is parked. I get into the bathroom, and change, with a liberal use of baby powder to keep sweating down before I change underwear. Use water to wash face and head, towel dry, hang biking clothes around desk to dry, a shot of Lysol in my general area and I haven't heard a complaint yet. Probably all together it takes 20 minutes, plus slow ride for last mile, but I seem refreshed after the ride. But we haven't had a humid day yet in Chicago. Just started using Bally's free showers last week. A lot more work with flip-flops, big towel, etc, but I am now sure of being clean.

Some people say they use alcohol...Maybe a big sponge and alcohol..Is that not bad for the skin?
I plan to keep using the shower..Just looking for the fastest method, if needed...
Can always rinse out my clothes when time permits.thanks all.
My post commute cleanup is 5-7 minutes, tops. I turn on my computer and check e-mail while cooling down. Then I grab a change of clothes and head to the bathroom. A quick change in the stall, then back to my cubicle to hang clothes out to dry (no rinsing), apply deodorant, etc.
I keep some various sundries in my desk drawer including:
deodorant
scented body spray (works for shoes too)
washcloth in case things get too nasty
wet wipes
baby powder
extra pair of socks, belt and undies (I tend to forget these sometimes)
The funny thing is, some days when I get home I find it easier to repeat the process (clean up vs. taking shower). Heck, some days I don't even shower at all. And no one complains - not even my wife. Wait a minute... maybe that's why she's not too affectionate toward me these days. Reminder to self: shower as soon as I get home today.

10 minutes, and 5 of that is walking to the gym showers at the office.
I'm a sweathog within one mile of home because I'm a heavy sweater and have been all my life. I don't rinse out my clothes at the office. I just hang them up to let them air dry. They only get really funky if they are kept balled up in a bag, warm and wet, so that the funk-generating microbes can get cracking!
If I'm in a hurry, I go straight to the showers after slowing down for the last part of the ride, to cool off before the shower. As I walk in, I turn on the shower to get the hot water flowing, and then strip out of my riding clothes. Lather, rinse, do not repeat. Dry, dress, and run out to my meeting. I can leave my clothes hanging up in a locker in the shower area, but my office does not allow me to lock the locker (making it an un-locker??), so I try to get them back to my cube. I don't know who would want my funky bike clothes, but I know that I don't want to be missing them at the end of the day.
On a good day, when I remember to get up without using the snooze button 10 times, and I remembered to stage all my gear the night before, I put my bike into the bikelocker outside, stroll into the cafeteria, buy breakfast, and then go shower.

One of the reasons I love being a chef, no matter how hot and stinky I get, its always hotter in the kitchen. No need to worry as I sweat more working than after riding.
Since the place where I work is stashed into the back of a lab, no one really cares, I could just bike in, plop my butt down and work and no one would care. :)
So I was in the basement of my workplace and went into a restroom I'd never been in before. To my surprise I discovered the building's shower! In the future I will not assume a building doesn't have a shower until I've looked everywhere.
Uh.. make sure the shower's been used before. Otherwise, you'll never know how filthy that place is.

10 min.
I shower at home, use deodorant and change into fresh, double-rinsed clothes. I smell pretty good. :)
If you want to go showerless, remember to watch the trouble-spots--crotch, armpits and gear that has been sweated into but not thoroughly washed. Germs cause odor, so if you don't give them a chance to grow, you'll smell fine.

About the only thing I can do is delay putting on my tie until I'm actually sitting down in front of my computer. That's about it really.

If my bike clothes were drying outside, while on day shift, I would have a problem...Some of the mechanics are pranksters.. Probably they would let me find them...If not...26 miles home in dockers... My rear would be hurting.

No time. I wear shorts and t-shirt at work in the summer. Get off the bike, walk in and that's it.

My problem is that I'll continue to sweat 15 minutes after I'm in the building. I wear a CoolMax shirt and bike shorts under my work clothes, take em off in the bathroom, dry towels and to my first meeting. About 5 minutes...
My forehead will continue to sweat but everyone understands that I'm biking and they seem to accept the realities. I think they envy my ability to exercise in the morning.

My commute is 21 miles and I shower before I leave. If I cooldown right I enter work only slightly sweaty on the hottest mornings. Hot days sometimes require a few more minutes which brings me up to 5 minutes. Not having a shower at work has forced me to work it out. Biggest thing is fresh clothes when you get to work I think.

Paul..Is not Az pretty hot? Most of it is..DOn't know but my 26 miles. Do I reflect how my jersey smells after 26 miles. It is pretty bad...Some have said, if I have to smell you for 12 hours, you can do your work outside..
I had to put that jersey on the next AM, I would be grossed out.
I am hoping should I not have time to clean up quickly for some reason..How about a big sponge and some kind of quick drying solution that can get you clean in 3 minutes.
..Fear I might not have time for a 20 minute shower and clothes clean up.
With a full shower..My female work partner is impressed..I get out of the shower..Refreshed..Smell great with a little deodrant and a mild amount of Stetson on my face.

Try slowing down about 10 minutes before you get there, stay in a low enough gear that you're not pushing, that way you get the wind to cool you down and you give your body time to slow down.

Impressing a female coworker in the shower is considered harassment. :p
