salutations bike dikes. i am hoping to come across some 165mm cranks. my lack of track height bb and the 170s i am running currently scrap a bit on the track when at slower speeds. it sort of freaks me out a bit... depending on the bcd, i may need a chainring too... hopefully something in the 48 to 50 tooth size. ultimately, i would like to run something around 48/49-14 to 49/50-15... i am still debating whether i want to get something nice now, or just something cheap to hold me over until i get a track only bike together. so if you have some you would like to sell, let me know.

thanks,
chris

thanks guys. i was watching some cranks on ebay, but jitensha_de_go! offered to sell me some dotek bmx cranks. i just need a chainring now. he offered to sell me his 50t one with the cranks, but i realized if i get a 47t, i can keep my track and road gear ratios without getting new cogs. i also just wanted something cheap and temporary until i can get my track only bike together. right now i'm saving up to buy a frame from my friend eric, who runs groundup designs. he was only doing fillet brazed frames for years, but is now starting to tig weld them as well. i would much rather pay 500 for a tig welded steel frame, than 1000 to 1300 for a fillet brazed one...once i get that frame, i'll probably go with a campy pista grouppo and throw my 170mm d-a cranks back onto my iro.
