Im interested in an oversize bicycle ( similar to the one in the bottom left of this link: http://www.pednet.org/artatf.html). any idea who makes them or where to get them?

It's a Monster Cruiser, made by (get this) Coker Tire. See http://www.coker.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=300 . One LBS here, which carries a lot of "exotic" models, carries them.

Learn to use a mig welder, pipe cutters and benders, and threading taps. It's always better if you do it yourself. :)
