Recreational & Family - mounting bracket for trailer

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Someone gave us a trailer for our little one to ride in, but the part that connects to the bike just attaches to a standard hub. How do these things mount to a road bike with the hub that has the release lever? Is there some other hardware and if so, where do i find it?

Wike trailers (http://www.wicycle.com/order_parts.php) sells parts for hitches. They might be compatible with what you are looking to do. I think others have written here in the past about using the Wike hitch on Burley trailers. I also think that Burley sells replacment hitches also. Although I think they were pretty expensive relative to Wike.
