Part of me doesn't care as I'm not really into chasing doping stories but if this proves out.....

You should read this report from cyclingnews -- it turns out it was DHEA which was in a supplement he was using for acute depression, and I believe him when he said he wasn't taking it to boost performance (esp. since he has a history of depression and there is little/no proof that DHEA does boost performance). I think he's doing the honorable thing by retiring but think he may be getting a raw deal and the WADA and UCI should really reconsider this case.

I read it and I'm inclined to believe it was for depression but I can't agree that he's getting a "raw deal." He knew it was banned. Agree that th immediate retirement was the best option.

Hamilton, who was doping for 114 days out of 209 in the 2003 racing season caught doping? Who the heck is surprised by this? Was it his vanishing twin or another of his multiple personalities?
Wake the f&ck up people!
My God, no! No! The persecution must stop! Tyler is innocent!
Vanishing octuplet!

If Hamilton was only half a smart about his, so called, nutrition as Armstrong he may still have been a national hero.

Two predictions:
1. Tyler Hamilton Foundation switches charitable objective from MS to clinical depression.
2. Tyler switches from drugs to food and becomes poster boy for ex-racers who blow up (replacing Steven Roche).

As if anyone believes that the DHEA only came from his OTC medication. This guy bull$hits a lot. What were the test numbers? DHEA in the medication taken to suppress lying thru one's teeth is next.

130 ng/ml vs. a limit of 100 ng/ml.
