Well, I bought my specialized allez sport, and I am just getting ready to ride, but my floor pump has stuck itself onto the presta valve when I tried to air it up. What can I do/ did I do something wrong?

Is the lever in "air up" postion?

Nope =/
It's the Nashbar pump by the way.

Assuming you released the lever - hold the bottom of the valve with one hand to help protect it and gently pull, increasing pressure and turning slightly. Good luck.

Look at where the air chuck fits onto the valve stem. Usually you can unscrew the cap. About 1/4 turn should loosen the rubber fitting enough so that you can easily pull the chuck off of the tire valve stem. They're made that way on purpose, by the way, so that you can tighten the rubber fitting as it wears through use.
