Anyone have an opinion on this? Ebay seller doesn't respond to questions. Looks like a path racer or board track racer, if you ask me. Wooden wheels, but check out the ultra-short wheelbase. What's the deal with that?

Item number: 3678591108 (in case link doesn't work)
Iver Johnson track bike? BSA track bike?
shame seller doesn't have better pics, I bet the seller is an antique
dealer who doesn't have a clue what he has.
Be interesting to see where this one goes.
The B17 saddle alone is worth more than the current price.

I agree. I was tempted but I don't need another project. The funky geometry is intriguing - the chainstays are ultra short.
Dude! I work about ten minutes from Woodbury...I wish I saw this auction earlier. I might make a bid depending what it goes for. Although I do not need another project either.
I bet he is an antiques dealer...Woodbury is FULL of shops. Plus, he says it'll make a good decoration. HAHA! It'll be good to fix and ride.

I didn't do it and I'm sure I wouldn't havce gone that far. But it was tempting as all get out for sure.
I really wish I would have seen it at a shop while driving through there...next time.

The winning bidder is a member of CR list (why am I not surprized) and there
was a bit of discussion on this bike, some thought it was a motor pacer
from the 30's? (not sure) anyhow he is gonna post more about it when it
arrives, I can "port" that over here if ya'll are interested.
Marty
Definitely interested. I loved the fact the winner made his bid with 4 seconds to go.
I'm glad it went higher than I wanted to pay anyway, saved me from another project to annoy my wife.
