Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - 650c track bikes and fixies

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Do they exist? I dont just mean front wheel - I mean both wheels 650c. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of one, but are they out there?

I am sure you can find them in a smaller frame size. At the same time, if you don't run breaks, why not run 650's on your 700c frame? Just watch the tight turns... ;)
A year or two ago Fuji or Bianchi made one.

yeah, the fuji track SE came in a 650c size. it looked really badass...would probably be super fun to thrash around town on.

Anyone know how much one of thos HH track frames would go for? I'm assuming they're not exactly cheap, but are they at least remotely reasonable?

Wouldn't this negatively effect the actual BB height? Looks schweet, but sketchy

Putting 650s on a 700 frame will lower the BB, but if it's designed for smaller wheels you'll be ok (assuming the framebuilder knows what they're doing). Cervelo P3s are available with 650s, not too sure about their track bike though.

Did anybody see the pista 16 on the HH site? Cutest damn thing I've ever seen. I can't waint until my kids can ride.
