Hi,
I'd like to introduce road biking to my bro-in-law (52) who lives in TO. He had some sort of triple balloon implant on his heart about two years ago. Shortly thereafter, he was hot to trot to the gym 6 or 7 days a week and he looked great. Didn't last too long I guess.
We were just up there for Easter and he' seems to be back to his old ways - heavy diet, drink and moderate exercise. He owns a good mtn bike but I'd like to introduce him to r/b as I said. I have two and I'm sure he'd fit one of them.
I just want to show him an easy option to help him live longer...
Anyone know of decent cycling routes from the Lawrence Park area? I've looked at Google maps and the ravine is close. I don't know anything about it. If it required a ride out of town to get him to experience the thrill then recommendations about that would be welcome as well.
I owe him anyways. I just discovered that the bottle of scotch I finished at his place is $125 a bottle! :p
