Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Any saddles with strong springs?

I weigh 280 lbs and the saddles I have tried lose their suspension after a few hundred miles. Are there any saddles that have stronger than average springs? What sprung saddles do my fellow Clydes use?

I would try the Brooks, but I am unemployed and can't afford them.

I ride a cheap brand my LBS sells since I was 371 pounds and do fine on them ! The brand is Cloud 9 like I sAID CHEAP BUT WORKS FOR MY ARSE ! I bought a Brooks and never have liked it but I keep trying it . got a few thousand miles on the 2 I have and ZERO problems . YMMV

Send me a PM maybe we can work something out, I have a extra Brooks Flyer I can let you have for a real good price. It's like new only about one hundred miles on it. I know what its like being unemployed I was off since January also, but landed a job last week so hang in there. I also go about 280 and have no problems with it.I have one on my touring bike now and this one is off one of my other bikes that I just sold last week.

Thanks for the kind offer, lubers, but I think that I will try the "Cloud 9" saddle that pipes recommended.

Some of the reviewers on Amazon.com also said that it has strong springs.
