Road Cycling - Are you guys getting the track World Championships on TV?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Starts today in Melbourne, Australia. We are actually getting better coverage than the Tour de France; about 3 hours a day of replays.
Are you guys getting it live?
Gotta love SBS. I picked up a set-top box last year so SBS is now crystal clear. Can't wait.
CHEERS.

Yeah, it's gunna be growse!! :D
I was wondering if it's getting any publicity at all in the US
CBC actually showed the world cup, on saturday, but I didn't even know about it so I missed it. They did a great job of publicizing it. It wasn't even listed.
They usually show the champs, but not live. It'll probably be on next week.

That surprises me, you seem to get good coverage of the Giro and other Euro stuff.

I hope we get coverage of it somewhere. I always enjoy watching track cycling... used to wander over to the Chandler Velodrome in Brisbane quite frequently when I lived there.
There is good coverage of the road racing in the US (on OLN) at the moment, but it's a very recent thing. There seemed to be little interest until after Lance Armstrong had won the tour a couple of times. Since Lance or Tyler Hamilton aren't racing in the track championships, I wouldn't think it will have much telecast priority ;)
