Okay, for those of you unfamiliar with this area, it's about an hour's drive north of Milwaukee in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. It will be one of the few road races this summer and part of the Tour of America's Dairyland (reg. now open HERE (http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=8320)). The course to be used was raced by the collegiate racers today and as far as I know, these were the first races ever on this challenging, ten mile loop. I went up there for the purpose to do some reconnaissance, here's my report.

Maps from HERE (http://www.tourofamericasdairyland.com/schedule/greenbush-description.php).

Yes, that's Kyle Jacobson rolling off the front on lap 2 chasing another solo rider.

Even more interesting, is the video I shot of the tough course. I'll post the link when I get it put together. If you were planing on racing this series, you're going to want to see this video! If you've ridden in southern Indiana, or maybe in Kentucky, then you'll have an idea what this is like. This ain't Chicago! :)

Thanks for the race report. All I need to hear to skip it for the Tour of America's Dairyland!

JDub,
Hey, nice work on the video.

So you've moved into moving picures now too huh?

I just happenend to stop by here for a glance this morning...been a while.
Looked like a some hills were involved. Much more relaxed watching your video than doing the climbs.

Been riding pretty much already this spring...got a new Madone 5.2 a couple weeks ago.

Were you standing by the trooper during the second set of races? I think I drove by you when I was shooting the 'in car' stuff.

No, not me...I was out riding yesterday.

Sat. Wisport RR in Whitewater...forecast is sun and 70!
If you go and I race, take pictures along the first 10-12 miles of the 26-mile course, because after that point I won't be in the pack any longer looking all cool for the shot! I'll be off the back by myself with my tongue hanging out.....again.
