Hi!

I'm (obviously) new here, but not to cycling. I used to ride regularly, but I've been slacking the last year or so. I've decided to get back into it and I thought I'd join this community while I'm at it!

Hey Bongo! Welcome Aboard!

You'll have to fill us in on how good (or bad) the riding is in Hollywood. Of course the weather has to be pretty nice most of the time I'd imagine.

You'll learn a lot by hanging out here. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yeah, the Banana is a bit hyper, not unlike myself after a few cups. As for the riding in Hollywood, well, it kinda sucks. No bike lanes and the drivers actively try to kill you with their SUV's. But I am very close to some excellent riding, so all I have to do is bear with the traffic for a few miles or throw the bike on the car.

Hi Bongo... welcome.

I've often wondered what it must be like to ride in Hollywood/LA. I suppose the hills are fine, but you really are in the heart of car country.

BTW... if someone mentions BONGA, just ingnore them...:rolleyes:

The Hills make it all worthwhile, Mulholland Drive is a great ride!
