Is this a stupid idea? It seems like a ton of threads are just a simple question that gets answered in the first or second post, so maybe it would save on some clutter?

(Also it's mainly because I feel bad for making multiple threads to ask small dumb questions.)

I actually just went through old Cinelli parts listings myself and found out it's a 1R! They seem great, I'd just have to get some shims.

But the thread might still be useful!

Actually, it's an XA (http://www.velobase.com/ViewSingleComponent.aspx?ID=9147A00A-B413-4E42-B87A-CC3258280C7D&Enum=102&AbsPos=8).

The 1/R (http://www.velobase.com/ViewSingleComponent.aspx?ID=BD070DF6-9F75-4F81-98A7-F5420E1E49DF&Enum=102&AbsPos=4) uses a different clamp mechanism and was discontinued after only a few years because of recurrent clamp failure problems.

I have one of those. I don't remember what the model is but the bar clamp is 26.4mm. Nice match for an old Cinelli bar.

I like the multiple threads option over the one big thread idea. The big thread concept would make using the search function more difficult since the title of this thread would have nothing to do with what you're trying to find.
