It looks nice, but a bike around here that supposedly needs work will not sell for that much, unless it sells to a C&Ver. But even then. I'm not familiar enough to know if Vitesses is the actual name of the model of bike. Thanks for the help guys! :thumb:

Vitesses is "speed" as in "12 Speed." It's not the name of the bike.

The tubing is Reynolds 501-- not 531, so not as desirable. I think $200 is too high for this bike-- maybe $150 would be more like it.

Full Reynolds 501 frma and fork. I can sell that bike for $250-300 all day long in Tampa.

Your market may vary. Always offer less than what a CL seller is asking.

Most sellers put up that $25-50 buffer. There's no harm in haggling reasonably especially since the guy says he has no time for it.

Every one of my bikes has a $25 buffer. This morning I actually knocked off $50 only because I was still making my minimum $100.

Its CL. Haggling's expected.
