besides me, for having to leave the BP MS 150 earlier? After two solid days of rain, cancellation of Day 1 and a Sunday forecast of 18-22 mph sustained NW winds, my team decided it was time to call it off. We packed up and headed home on Saturday. As I check this morning it looks like a perfect start, weather wise, for the ride and the wind predictions have been tapered down to 12-14 mph. Now, I know I should have stayed and just called my wife to pick me up in Austin. Oh well, no sense crying over something I cannot change. Hope everyone had a great ride and please feel free to rub it in and tell me all about it, I deserve it. :(

Man I was there last year with all the headwinds, and starting temp of 38 degrees on Sunday. I didn't have full gloves so my fingers were numb about a mile out. The headwind was tough, but not that big a deal. I was a newbie, and still made it.:D,,,,BD

You missed a beautiful, albeit windy ride on Sunday.

It was plenty windy...most stations out there were showing 15-20 with gusts in the 23-27 range. But it really wasn't as bad as it sounds. The temp was pleasant, the wind was usually quartering instead of dead on headwind, and there were lots of folks to join up in lines with.

Good to hear, txags92, I was wondering how it went for you.
