At least my duathlon career. Here's the sad story with pics.

Sometimes you have bad races. It just happens. I've only done one duathlon (Salmon Duathlon- last Nov.)and it pretty much sucked. It was my worst race all season. The other four were tris. But it was still fun. It was a friend's first race and she did great!
Of course if it's not fun, why do it? :D

Oh, this is like after the Superbowl when everyone says they're going to retire, then a few weeks later they come to their senses.
Go again. Maybe some hammer electrolytes would help. But you look so sharp in the photos I think you'd be CRAZY to retire.

Thanks, Curtis, but that's the Protour jersey effect.
Hey Cliff - I like your sense of humour, but seriously, I agree with the others - you look in way too good shape to give up! It just sounds as though you might need to get more electrolytes into you.

I predict your retirement will last "one week" You'll gain an ounce of fat from your wifes baking, have a melt down, hate yourself and you'll be back out training like a maniac in no time! : )
