Hey guys,

new here, but hope you´ll still help me out here.

I bought a Colnago couple of days ago. I think it was a bargin but I´m not sure yet how much of a bargain it really was.

1. Can someoen tell me which Colnago version this is?
2. Can you guys give me an estimate how much this bike really is worth?

It´s all Colnago and Campagnolo, see pics.
Condition is pretty awesome, no large scratches or other problems.

Your bike looks just like mine, which I believe (from my research) to be a Super Piu from 1993 or 1994. COLNAGO stamped dropouts (probably without a serial number), sloping fork crown with the clover engraved, internal brake cable routing through the top tube, chrome headlugs/fork with cutout lugs, all look identical to mine. I believe the Super and the Super Piu were nearly identical except the Super lacked the internal cable routing. Mine rode great, very stable but would go where you pointed it.

Any clue how much it is worth?

Mine with modern components appraised at $1200-1500. I would guess that yours, with the older components, is worth $900-1000. Maybe a touch less these days.

I would put value closer to around $800 for a local sale, with the bike all cleaned up, polished up, and ready to go.

In my area, everyone is looking for the $100 to $250 bike. As you get higher than that price wise, the buyers get scarce. But they are out there, it just takes a while to find them. This has worked to my benefit as a buyer (better deals), but not as a seller.
