Rough weekend for me. No takers for yesterday, so we decided that my wife should take the day for her ride. She rode the local 4 Hills ride with the Loomis loop. Near on 80 miles. Solo! Good for her!
I went to a shooting match this morning, still waiting on scores. I expect I placed in the top 4 today. Not bad considering I haven't shot since last August.
Then Nico came by to join me for a ride.
I was in a rush after the match and didn't have lunch (big mistake). I had intended to show Nico Iron Point, Beatty, and Wilson. But lack of food caused a mild bonk as I topped out Beatty and I was shot. So we called it and headed over to Green Valley for the return trip. All told, about 46 miles and 2300 feet. Iron Point goes up about 450 feet over about .85 of a mile. Beatty/Powers goes up about 625 feet over about 3/4 of a mile.
