Hello fellow bikers! I am new and need some advice!

I need to know what year this bike is. I am thinking about buying it. I am new to biking and just want to get a good frame with decent parts and then upgrade from there...keeping the frame.

If anyone knows...please inform me.

I know the components are not really good, but from what I have read in here the frame should work for me. The fork is low end too.....I just really want to know what year this bike is.

Thanks

Hey gimme a break on this...and PLEASE do not outbid me. This is going to be my very first bike and I want it really bad. Thanks!

Judging by the graphics and components and such, I would venture to say that it's a 2003 model year Specialized HardRock.

Make sure to have a shop go over it after you get it... it can save breakage and frustration. Just tell them you bought it used and don't mention you bought it online... it causes resentment in the heart of us bike mechanics.
