Looking for some info on the ride from San Antonio to Castroville via FM 471. I read somewhere that one of the local rides uses this route, departing from the gas station at 471 and 211. I was going to try and make the ride tomorrow but will be accompanied by a new road rider and I want to make sure it is not too difficult for her. What I am looking for is road/shoulder conditions, traffic conditions (especially during the week), is it hilly vs flat and are there any areas to stop at along the way? Thanks
