After my wreck last week, I assumed I fixed my derailler sufficiently well but it was still a little creeky plus it'd jump gears everyonce in a while, I tried everything. And my BB had a little squeak with every rotation that I couldn't figure out. Plus my front brakes were worn all the way (cheap stock pads).
I try to fix things myself because I don't want to take the time off to go over there. Anyway I bought it in today and she's like, "you're late for your 30-day tune up", and I'm like "dooohhh." I explain what's up, "no problem," take it in the back. I needed new pads but they didn't have the little pad that slid into the brake shoe so they gave me a new set of koolstops, somehow got my rear der to work like new, I mean the thing clicks in smooth and near dead silent, the BB squeak's gone, wiped my bike squeaky clean and shiny, lubed everything, adjusted my brakes and all the cables, and all they did was charge me 5 bucks.
