Am going camping in Iowa with the BF in a couple of weeks and am looking for some riding info. We are looking at Rock Creek (near Kellogg) and Union Grove (near Gladbrook) as two of our options for camping and riding. Is anyone familiar with the area? Are there good roads for riding in either of the two areas? Can you suggest any specific routes?

Lots of riders! The area you're looking into is gorgeous and you may sometimes compete with horse and buggy for the road as it's Amish area. Go to the Iowa DOT website and download the Iowa bicycling map. It color coords roads based on traffic counts. I'm at the other end of the state so not as familiar with that area specifically. Ridden through on motorcycle and once on MS150 ride. Pretty country and very good mom & pop cafes.

Cool! Thanks so much. I'll go to the DOT website today.
