Is it just me or do the nashbar.com prices fluctuate significantly on an almost weekly basis? After I bought some stuff, and I looked at the items again some prices went up, and some down. I travel from one coast to the other in Florida, and I know that some companies change their prices for different areas. I am pretty sure that budk.com prices are sensitive to location.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

Their prices usually go up if they have a free shipping, 15% off, or 20% off code available.

lol, I just got an email for free shipping.

Here is the code for the benefit of anyone, until this Friday:
APRSHIP

It is for order of $75 or more.

If you are patient, you can snare some really good buys - almost everything ends up 72% off, sooner or later, sometimes with another coupon on top of that.

prices change daily depending on discounts, shipping etc. I've noticed that the "final" prices winds up about the same

after i placed an order last month, they advertised "50% off all items". when i emailed them asking to adjust the prices, they answered that my order didn't include items on sale...LOL!!!!!!! but the ad said "all items"!!!!! that's false advertising but, what the heck, i live in colonial puerto rico, nowhere to claim my rights.

They were playing word games with that promotion. If you read it carefully, really carefully, you'd see it was 50% off all things in their BS promotion. Nashbar used to be the first place I look for gear, now they are the last.

Please suggest some alternates for me. I know that Bikeperformance, Nashbar, and another site that has since been closed, are operated by the same people.

I haven't really found any other stores that look legitimate and are "inexpensive."

I've found that Cambria Bike Outfitters has some good deals, as does Wheelworld.

This has been mentioned before, but you can use qbike.com to check prices.
