"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - This is sort of addicting...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The only thing that gets me through the work week are the prospects of the races on Saturday/Sunday.
Wish hadn't been such a p***y (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=390008)

the only thing that gets me through the work week is the paycheck that inevitably arrives every other friday.

I dunno... my current one has taken me to Hawaii, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis (ok that one's not quite as cool), and soon Portland.
It would seem that we choose meeting locations based on cycling potential, but I guarantee that's not the case... :innocent:

I'm the same way timmy. For my race on the weekend, I usually start looking forward to it on Tuesday.
This week is doomed since I'm not racing this weekend. I might not make it to Thursday.
Can't wait until the Wednesday night training crits start. I'm not sure I'll be able to handle the mid-week excitement.

I'm unintentionally working on it... :o

How long are you in town for?
Let me know if you're looking for a group ride.

Probably 2 weeks, depending on how many days I stay before or after the meeting. Mt. Hood is the only thing on my list of "Must-Rides"

It is addicting. Now does most of the stuff we say and do make a LITTLE bit more sense?

What particular ride on Mt. Hood? Are you talking about climbing it or snowboarding or something?
If you are around for two weeks, you should come out to PIR on Tuesdays to race. Will you have your bike?

I drove the road around Mt. Hood last time I was out there and I definitely want to do that on a bike.

MIN posted a ~100 mile route to Mt. Hood that I plan on doing at some point this year.

Fully agree.
What I find funny is: We wait all week for an event, then work to get it over with as fast as possible.
