Mountain Biking - Rocky Mountain Hammer and Blizzard frames made in Canada???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The person trying to sell me a R.M. Blizzard 07' frame told me the Hammer is actually made in Taiwan, whereas the higher end Blizzard is made in Canada!? REALLY? Isn't Hammer (725-CrMo) and Blizzard (853-CrMo) both hand built in their proud Canada factory, as the sticker on bike says?

Greatly appreciated if you can provide me some more insight info! Thanks.
I currently ride a 2001 Hammer. Past bikes: 1998 R.M. Hammer & 1996 R.M. Cardiac.

I think he may be right... for the '07 and newer models.

Your '01 hammer is probably Canadian-built as well.

You could email Rocky and see if they will give you the answer. Made and built do not always mean the same thing.
