Anyone planning on doing this fun but challenging ride? I was going to do the actual Mt. Hood Cycling race (http://www.mthoodcyclingclassic.com/) but can't get the extra day off from work and found their alternative which is the Tour de Hood =>

How is this ride compared to WA rides like RAMROD or Tour de Blast? I'm just trying to get an idea of difficulty, gearing, etc. Also, any recommendations for lodging...website has Best Western and Cooper Spur as sponsors?
