Touring - Has anyone used Aer Lingus lately?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Aer Lingus is running a special right now until tomorrow, and the price will go up significantly after that. So I need to make a decision about choosing them or not ASAP. They do not charge for bikes on trans-atlantic flights, yay! However, I would like to get some feedback from others who have used Aer Lingus recently about there experience. Did the bike arrive unharmed? How did you pack the bike? We will be flying one-way from chicago to paris, with a stop over in dublin.
Thanks!
