Touring - Does this look like a LHT fork to anyone else?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Nevermind, the crown does but its only got one set of eyelets... which is strange since its got lowrider mounts. Hmmm

That crown design is very common on steel forks and certainly wasnt invented by Surly, just like Surly didn't invent the touring bike, as people around here seem to think.

Surly also sells the crowns separately, so maybe that part is Surly.

Surly(like many firms) is more of a design studio, not a bike company. The things they sell, they have bought from others. Some of these things are items that they've designed and commissioned others to make for them; others come out of some weird maxway-style catalog. The crowns like these are found on the forks of many taiwanese bikes; i clicked on the link, expecting to see the raleigh one-way or whichever Raleigh has the fork that looks just like my LHT.
